Bag project #2 TOWN BAG

hello! I am proud to show you my second bag project. Inspired by the British tv hit series, Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock is hand felted, bag is made of soft canvas and cotton lining. It is also adjustable, a D ring is attached on the side and a lobster clasp for adjusting the handle. I thought it is cute for a sunday stroll, watching movie or just hanging out with friends. I just listed this bag in my etsy shop @ June22nd

Drumline 2nd competition

Hello! this is just a quick post of our weekend activities. We were at Centennial HS for the 2nd drumline competition. It's always a thrill for us. We get so excited to see the kids perform and do their best. I very much admire their efforts and love of music. Our school won 1st place in their category by the way. There will be a few more competitions to come, so surely i will be posting more!

Tote project

Just a quick post to show you my first tote project on my SEARS sewing machine. I made it!!!! I am sure i will be using that machine sooner :). I am very excited to do my next bag project. Hopefully if i dont get lazy hahaha....So what do you think? Oh BTW, i think the little geisha girl is really cute :)

SOUP & SALAD

So this was last night's dinner. Surprisingly we didn't have any rice at all. I have been cooking a lot of creamy vegetable soup lately and i'm glad my family loves them.

We had.....asparagus soup, bread, boiled potatoes, coles slaw, pineapple and carrot-apple juice.

Justine Bieber and Petite pain au chocolat

So it was a lazy evening, we turned to TV on to check what's new on netflix. We've seen almost every program that we're interested into watching. So, i said well might as well try this Justin Bieber Movie. I've heard a big rave about this movie as well.

I'll be honest,  in our household, we do love some of Justin's song but were not really a big fan, not even my daughter. She even laughed at us because we're watching the movie. But guess what?! i think she's now converted, one big fan of the Bieber haahahah. Honestly, I think that Justin Bieber is not just talented but a gifted child. I highly recommend this movie to watch with your kids if haven't watch it yet. It's a great feel good bonding movie to watch with your family. And very much inspring story for our kids as well.



A sunny breakfast

We woke up with this lovely scenery outside our kitchen window

the egg on the right side? that's my daughter's. she never like runny sunny side up, omelet, or fried egg. She liked that way, sort of a combo of the three :)

TADAHHHH!!!! Fried rice, egg and tocino(it's sort of like our bacon, a favorite morning breakfast. it has a sweet taste to it)
